ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited
Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) headquarters in Islamabad today.
Upon his arrival at ISI headquarters, COAS was received by ISI DG, General Rizwan Akhtar.
Gen Akhtar gave a detailed briefing on the in
ternal and ex
ternal security of the country and also highlighted the initiatives taken by ISI to strengthen national
security and counter terrorism operations.
COAS expressed complete faith on the performance of country’s top intelligence agency.
Earlier COAS laid floral
wreath at Yadgare Shuhda to pay homage to the shuhada of ISI.
